These folders will remain permanently in sync as long as you keep the app running on your computer. Similarly, you can add existing folders to pCloud from the settings panel. It creates a new folder on your local hard drive that remains in sync with your pCloud account.
If you right-click on a folder, you can choose to download it on your computer for offline access.

I try 'Pause'-ing pcloud, it finally admits there are over 1000 files to upload, much smaller than remaining space. Nonetheless thought maybe it was a space issue so deleted some things to be sure. Did some digging and saw all sorts of files from my "sync"-ed folders on laptop are not there, which is weird, because the desktop client has been happily telling me "Everything Uploaded", never shown any error, low space message, anything. Why: wanted to pull up an important file on my phone yesterday and it wasn't there. I am taking all my important data somewhere else and using my "lifetime" of space strictly as a 3rd-tier self-encrypted backup via rclone going forward.
